Athletic. Beautiful. Strong. Gentle. Kind. Powerful.
We celebrate body diversity and encourage individuals to get attuned to their bodies, not sell them “skinny,” or “fit,” or even “healthy.” There is enough of that already and we deserve better.
This is a new beginning of being truly kind to our bodies; celebrating the innate power and strength that we hold and allowing the movement of our bodies and the cultivation of physical strength to be the rebellion of antiquated rules and the celebration of our power in all forms.
We’re going to lift heavy and lift up the person beside us.
We see your strength already and we’d love to help you harness that strength.
Why the name Beltane?
Beltane is a Gaelic holiday celebrating the return of summer, fertility, and renewal with bonfires, flowers and ribbons. I’ve always felt as if I have a fire inside of me that ranges from a smolder to engulfing flames. Fire holds this raging beauty that has the potential to be destructive and yet is also protective.
This holiday feels like a celebration of the feminine energy: the gentleness of flowers and the power of fire. I don’t think feminine creatures get enough credit for our full range. We don’t have to pick between one end of the spectrum or the other- we can move along and lean into whatever feels right to us. We can be and are both all at the same time.
