I know how important strength training is for youth aged people. It helped me build the confidence to pursue walking on to a Division I basketball team because I knew even if I wasn’t the tallest, I was going to be one of the strongest and toughest. Being one of the hardest workers in the weight room gave me something within my control to focus on.

Now, after all my training and education, I also know that it helped me lay down the foundation to not only be bigger, faster, stronger, but:

  • Helped decrease my risk of injuries

  • Helped me learn movement patterns and skills I would use as a collegiate athlete (gave me an edge that I desperately needed competing against more skilled players)
